A sheet of paper, a cup, and a coin. In full view, the coin is there one moment and completely gone the next. It has not truly left. Moments later, it appears again. Everything happens right before the audience's eyes.

This is a classic effect you likely already know. Mai Bro revisited the principle and gave it a new narrative structure and emotional language, resulting in The Quantum Dome, a piece that balances rational construction with expressive performance.

For Mai Bro, the meaning of magic lies not only in method and technique, but also in the emotion carried by the performance and the connection it creates between performer and audience.

At the opening, a coin vanishes from your hand and appears from the air. It is then placed beneath the glass dome and paper tube, where it vanishes and returns without your hands ever touching the coin. Finally, the coin transforms into petals in your palm, while a blooming rose has been waiting quietly beneath the dome.

From the appearance and disappearance of the coin to the rose at the finale, each phase flows into the next and builds emotional weight, turning magic from a display of technique into a warm and memorable piece of expression.

Its structure is equally flexible. The rose is only one possible ending. Any item that fits beneath the glass dome can become the final reveal, whether it is a signed playing card from an earlier routine, an item the audience was forced to think of, or a greeting card prepared with your best wishes.
