I was tired of my old decks becoming unusable due to my hand sweat, and just normal wear and tear. I heard the fanning powder is probably the best solution, and I would agree with that after using it. It is closer to chalk that gymnasts would use, so it made the cards feel way different than I was expecting, but it got me another weeks worth of use out of a beater deck, and I can probably re dust it to use it longer. The only downsides are that it takes a bit longer to break your cards in after using the powder, it is a bit messy, and Murphy's Magic keeps its directions hidden on their website, which makes zero sense. It is not like this is a huge secret, and they don't give you any bonus tricks for purchasing it, so I thought that was weird. All in all, the stuff is pretty good if you are willing to put in the work to break your cards back in.
