El Toro was the April deck featured in the Kings Wild Shorts playing card subscription.
El Toro is a fresh, unique and hand-illustrated deck of standard size playing cards inspired by traditional Mezcal Spirit labels. Pulling from the simple but beautiful Mezcal bottles for our playing card designs, El Toro features a strikingly simple tuck case, that grabs your attention with Spanish style cards that have highly contrasting colors and bold typography. Relying heavily on the eye-pleasing aesthetic of straight to the point typesetting, El Toro uses a simple serifed font to communicate its message.
Inside the tuck case, you will find a complete set of custom court cards that carry on this simple and playful approach to Mezcal bottle playing card designs.
