The Bicycle collaboration is the first work in its history to be based on the style of Chinese ink-wash painting. The theme is the four seasons of the year, and the 24 solar terms of Jiangnan in China are integrated into this small card surface, connecting them into a series of unique and charming pictures, allowing each season to be engraved with its own poetic name. The misty rain of early spring, the lotus pond of midsummer, the migratory birds of late autumn, and the sweet fragrance of winter.

Four Seasons Expressed as Ink-Wash Poetry

• This series is divided into four decks—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter—each with a poetic subtitle:

  • Spring: Scroll of River Mist

  • Summer: Score of Southern Rain

  • Autumn: Anthology of Wind and Water

  • Winter: Chronicle of Ink and Snow 

• Each card replicates a delicate ink-wash painting, making each card feel like a painted scroll capturing the spirit of its season.

2. Dynamic, Mosaic-Like Card Scenes

• When placing two or more cards side by side, they merge to form seasonal panoramas—like the mist of Jingzhe (Awakening of Insects) with two or three cards, or the Bailu (White Dew) vista with four or five. 

• Shuffle the deck, and you'll metaphorically wander through the entire seasonal cycle—each deal unveiling a new landscape.
