A unique set of playing cards, crafted by hand, through the intricate art of paper cutting.

Hunched over a magnifying glass, craft knife in hand, Suzy Taylor is the epitome of patience and precision. Beneath her tiny blade is a blank sheet of paper, but in her imagination, a dizzyingly complex design is waiting to reveal itself. Days later, thousands of minuscule slivers of paper litter the tabletop and what is left is an intricate lace, extremely delicate and supremely beautiful. This is the time-honored tradition of paper cut art and this is the new Papercuts: Intricate Hand-cut Playing Cards.

Simple and Delicate

While not the most extravagant or showy deck you're likely to see - this one shines in the small details. The tiny, accurate, and unique designs are at center stage and it's a deck that will probably impress you more than you expect from such a simple premise.

Great Artfull deck

Really beautiful design, not only for the king, queen's and jack's also you see there went a lot of thought in the numbered cards the design and color picking. A piece of art I cannot stop looking at.

Gorgeous deck

Art of Play knocked this one out of the park. Papercuts is a rare example of a deck whose artwork lives up to its sales pitch. The court cards are stunning and the Joker and Ace of Spades can stand with them. The minimalist pip cards are attractive and understated - the best execution I've ever seen on giving the standard layout a little flair without phoning it in or totally redesigning them. The backs are nothing special but it's a nice look and works to even better effect on the tuck case. The card quality is excellent as well - smooth without feeling plasticky.
