Excellent For What It Is

I purchased these cards for my children in hopes they would have an easier time with some card cuts and such with their smaller hands. The paper stock is very likely the same thickness as the standard rider back decks, which does make them slightly awkward to handle because they are significantly smaller than the standard deck. The finish on them is smooth, not air-cushioned, which causes them to stick and not produce smooth fans. However, for the price and considering spreads and flourishes were likely not the main intention for Bicycle producing this deck, I’d say this mini-deck is very adequate for what it is: a smaller version of a standard deck.

Niche but fun

Fun to use as a reveal and that's about it. Very niche purpose but overall a great product.

Great for little hands!

I got these for my 5 year old sister and she loved them! Not as good quality as normal bicycle card but still great.

Cute, but the proportions make handling difficult

I bought these mini cards so my 5-year old could have an easier time doing some magic tricks along with me. He really likes the cards, especially how two minis turned horizontally is exactly the vertical height of a regular card. Unfortunately, because the cards are from the same stock as regular cards (thickness), they don’t bend or flex very easily because the smaller dimensions results in having less leverage. Even for me, it’s quite difficult to do a riffle shuffle.
I’d still recommend them as a novelty, but don’t necessarily expect that they’ll be useful for smaller hands.

Thanks for the review Jim.. maybe some bridge size cards would work?
