MINT 2

  • With an air of nostalgia, MINT combines elements from vintage casino decks with a modern aesthetic to create a design that is truly timeless.
  • The cards are printed by the United States Playing Card Company on a Crushed Casino Grade Bee Stock and coated with a silky Air Cushion Finish. Your hands deserve nothing but the best.
  • The cards are carefully packaged in a beautiful embossed and foil laced tuck case and then sealed with a branded 'Second Edition' tax stamp.
  • Mint playing cards feature a number of valuable features for magicians. The back design includes the new and improved multi-directional Mint Marking System. The cards are Traditionally Cut to help facilitate the execution of perfect Faro Shuffles. Each deck also includes a Double Backer gaff card and two identical Jokers.
  • Proudly crowdfunded on Kickstarter. This deck was presented as a part of the MINT 2 Kickstarter project in 2018. Over 5,600 incredible backers came together to raise a historic $564,558 in funding to make this deck a reality.

    Tier One.

These are very good handling cards. They will need breaking in or they do for me. Very slick. Pretty and unique.

    Classy, useful

Classy, reasonably priced. The marking system is subtle but not too hard to see (IF you have good eyes!). They handle very nicely. Great work, guys!

It's a fanomial marking system, a little hard to read, but all on all a good buy

    The Good and The Great

I always keep an eye out for that next great deck of cards. So I knew that the MINT deck was one that I wanted to get my hands on and get a feel for what they had to offer. The first thing to look at is the nice foil work on the box, this is great but it's only on one side of the box and the inside as well. The design on the back of the cards have an excellent geometric pattern but I couldn't help but wonder what it might look like with the same shiny foil ink as the box. Being a bit older, I find the marking system useless as I do not have the eyes of an Eagle. It would seem strange ( Although very funny) to produce a large magnifying glass during a performance. Also I would love to have some decks without the white borderline as on the USPCC BEE decks. The pips are small and although I enjoy the traditional look, I find that it is useful to have larger. The tone of color on the face cards and pips is muted but I like a brighter color scheme as much as a vintage one. The feel and handling is excellent once you put a bit of work on them and they fan.. well .. fantastic! All in all a good deck of cards but I cant shake the feeling that they might have been great.
